How I make a new skill

Tell your agent the job, the look and the stack, so it can write a skill you improve through use.

Why I keep it

I don’t want to fill in a form to teach an agent a job. I tell Claude what I want, how it should look and what stack I’m using, so it has enough context to write the skill. The useful corrections come from doing the work with it.

I’ve put that pattern into new-skill.md as a template and two worked examples for tech-lead and hero-writer. The template asks for an example, checks and stopping points, so the finished SKILL.md has a job you can try and a result you can judge.
